How to Become a Clipper and Get Paid for Short Clips

Clipping is one of the few ways a creator can earn from short-form video without needing a huge following or a brand deal of their own. If you can cut a good 30-second clip and post it natively, you can get paid per verified view. Here is the full path.

Diagram of the five steps to become a clipper: sign up, connect your account, join a campaign, cut and post a clip, earn per verified view
From signup to first payout, in five steps.

1. Sign up

Create a free clipper account. No cost to join, and you can browse open campaigns before connecting anything.

2. Connect a real account

Connect the TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or X account you actually post from, through that platform's official login. This proves you own the account and lets the platform read your public stats. You connect your own account, never a shared login.

3. Join a campaign

Pick an open campaign in crypto, AI or SaaS. Each one shows its rate per 1,000 views and its caps upfront, so you know what a clip can earn before you make it. If a campaign is targeted to a region or country, only accounts in that location can join.

4. Cut and post a clip

Cut a short clip from the campaign's approved source content, post it natively on your connected account, and submit the link. The system checks the clip belongs to your account, then starts tracking its views.

5. Earn per verified view

Your clip's views are read from the platform's API on a schedule, not self-reported. Earnings compute automatically, hold briefly so the count can stabilize, then settle and pay out to your wallet.

What do I need to start?

A real social account you post from, and enough of a following to meet a campaign's minimum (commonly 1,000). You do not need editing software beyond what your phone offers, though cleaner cuts tend to perform better.

How do I get paid?

Set a payout wallet in your dashboard. Settled earnings are exported and paid out. For how the numbers work, see how much clippers earn; for the trust mechanics, see how view verification works.
